Please call the RM for any questions you may have regarding Pest Control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weed Control <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Noxious Weeds<\/strong><br>Bailey Janzen, the R.M. of Swift Current\u2019s Weed Inspector, can help you identify noxious weeds and answer any questions you may have. Please call the RM office for any questions you may have regarding noxious weeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stray Animal <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cstray\u201d means an animal that is:<br>(a) unlawfully running at large; or<br>(b) is found outside its owner\u2019s fence or enclosure and on public or private property without permission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Saskatchewan Stray Animals Guide requires owners to prevent animals from being at large. The fencing requirements for keeping cattle, horses, wild boar and other animal species are described in the Regulations of this Act. This Act is enforced by the R.C.M.P.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The R.M. of Swift Current each year appoints a Poundkeeper that is situated in the R.M. When a stray animal is found and the property does not have proper facilities to house the animal, it is transported to the Poundkeeper. If the property does have the proper facilities and the owner is willing, the R.M. Administrator appoints the owner a temporary poundkeeper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you encounter a stray animal, it is imperative that you&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rmswiftcurrent.ca\/contact\/\">contact the Municipal Office<\/a>&nbsp;immediately so that the proper procedures can be set in motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Residential Waste and Recycle Residential Waste and Recycling carts are invoiced quarterly in January, April, July, October.
