{"id":2510,"date":"2025-07-29T09:38:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T15:38:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oursask.info\/rm367\/?post_type=notice&#038;p=2510"},"modified":"2025-07-29T11:09:22","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T17:09:22","slug":"emergency-plan-and-new-co-ordinator","status":"publish","type":"notice","link":"https:\/\/oursask.info\/rm367\/notices\/emergency-plan-and-new-co-ordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"EMERGENCY PLAN AND NEW COORDINATOR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are making steady progress on the development of our draft <strong>Emergency Measures Plan<\/strong> in collaboration with LS Consulting and Casa Boldt Consulting Corporation, with implementation scheduled for the end of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This plan is a vital tool for guiding our response in the event of a state of emergency and ensuring the safety and preparedness of our community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Rural Municipality of Ponass Lake, the Town of Rose Valley and the Village of Fosston with have both individual and joint emergency plans to ensure a coordinated approach across all local jurisdictions. This important work is being supported by the TSS grant, which is covering 75% of the total cost.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re also pleased to welcome our new <strong>EMO Coordinator, Robert Wells,<\/strong> who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
