{"id":9065,"date":"2026-05-06T15:00:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T21:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oursask.info\/rm38\/event\/r-m-of-laurier-no-38-council-meeting\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T15:00:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T21:00:12","slug":"r-m-of-laurier-no-38-council-meetings-2","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/oursask.info\/rm38\/event\/r-m-of-laurier-no-38-council-meetings-2\/","title":{"rendered":"R.M. of Laurier No. 38 Council Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"288\"><strong>Council Meeting<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"288\">The R.M. of Laurier No. 38 typically holds its <strong data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"308\">regular Council meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m.<\/strong> in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office at 505 Healy Ave, Radville, SK.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"288\"><strong data-start=\"236\" data-end=\"288\">Council Meeting Attendance &amp; Delegation Requests<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h4 data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"617\"><strong data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"311\">Public Attendance<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"617\">The public is welcome to attend any regular Council meeting of the R.M. of Laurier No. 38 as observers. Council meetings provide an opportunity for residents to stay informed on municipal decisions and operations. Observers are not permitted to address Council unless formally scheduled as a delegation.<\/p>\n<h4><strong data-start=\"619\" data-end=\"644\">Becoming a Delegation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"619\" data-end=\"849\">Individuals or groups wishing to speak at a Council meeting must request to appear as a delegation in accordance with the R.M.\u2019s Council Procedures Bylaw. There are two types of delegation requests:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"921\"><strong data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"919\">1. Delegation on an Item Already on the Council Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"995\">If you wish to speak to an item that already appears on a Council agenda:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1351\">\n<li data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1129\">\n<p data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1129\">Submit a <strong data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1026\">written request<\/strong> to the RM Office <strong data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1110\">no later than four (4) hours prior to the start of the meeting<\/strong> (agenda deadline).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1351\">\n<p data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1158\">Your request must include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1351\">\n<li data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1207\">\n<p data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1207\">Name and mailing address of the spokesperson<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1234\">\n<p data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1234\">Daytime contact number<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1282\">\n<p data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1282\">Signature of the delegate or representative<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1351\">\n<p data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1351\">A clear statement of the topic and request being made to Council<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1475\"><strong data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1362\">Note:<\/strong> If a request is received after the agenda deadline, Council must pass a motion to allow the delegation to speak.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1482\" data-end=\"1544\"><strong data-start=\"1487\" data-end=\"1542\">2.
