{"id":27030,"date":"2026-01-31T15:25:41","date_gmt":"2026-01-31T21:25:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oursask.info\/rm39\/?p=27030"},"modified":"2026-02-04T11:19:48","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T17:19:48","slug":"everything-you-need-to-know-about-our-council-meetings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oursask.info\/rm39\/community\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-our-council-meetings\/","title":{"rendered":"Everything you need to know about our Council Meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Council Meetings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. in Council Chambers of the RM office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>It should be noted that any correspondence to Council becomes part of the council meeting thereby becoming public record.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Information must be submitted the Wednesday prior to the council meeting date<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Public Attendance at Meetings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The public is welcome at any regular council meeting.&nbsp; You will be there as an observer unless a request to the RM Office has been made to become a scheduled delegation the Wednesday prior to the date of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to become a delegation at a regular council meeting<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you or your business\/organization wishes to make a presentation to council, you are required to do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>must submit in legible writing a request to council the Wednesday before the regular council meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the number of delegations to be present in front of council shall not exceed four<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the delegation shall be allowed twenty minutes for their presentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Council Meetings Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. in Council Chambers of the RM office.
