🏞️ The Gap Recreation Committee

The Gap Recreation Committee plays a vital role in supporting local recreation and community wellness. This volunteer-led group oversees the operation of both the Prairie Pride Community Centre and The Gap Recreational Centre, ensuring these facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all.

🛠️ Responsibilities

The Committee works in partnership with the Village of Ceylon Council to:

• Recommend capital projects that enhance or extend the life of recreation facilities
• Advise on necessary repairs and ongoing maintenance
• Initiate and manage sport, culture, and recreation programs and events
• Support inclusive access to gathering spaces for residents and visitors alike
